Three symbols of power that indicate a change in the way the farm will function are the fact that Napoleon calls the dogs to run Snowball out of the farm, Napoleon starts to tell everyone what to do, and everyone becomes scared of Napoleon. This shows that Napoleon will become the most powerful person on the farm, and animals will start to respect him out of fear. Although the animals respect Napoleon, they prefer to respect Snowball. After a while, they start to doubt the fact that they trusted Snowball.

Napoleon gives off many symbols of power when he takes control. On page 68 it says that napoleon is is sitting on a elevated floor, I believe that is a symbol that he is higher than all of the other animals.

I agree with what Eric said about the platform and i agree with was Giselenine about in the animals relizing that they perferred Snowball to Napolean. Also Napoleans dogs are a symbol of power because they loom over Napolean and give him status and thier repect and protection and from the protection of the dogs comes the respect and obidence of the other animals on Animal Farm.

Another symbol of power is that Napoleon orders the meetings to end and says that the pigs will now make the decisions (headed by him) in private then communicate there decisions to the rest of the animals. This is on page 68 also. On page 79 Napoleon moves into the farm house with some of the other pigs, I think that this is the ultimate symbol of power.
