Poetry and Music

Deadline for this discussion has been moved to Sunday evening. By Monday morning, when I log in, if your comments are there, you receive credit. What I’d like you to discuss is the way this unit has helped you understand the role music and writing plays in affecting social change. Even though the music we’ve listened to is probably not the music you have in your iPods, are you beginning to appreciate what these artists have done? Give your thoughts on these topics and about the unit in general–are you excited about the upcoming project? Nervous? Terrified? Explain.
