I think that Ian’s thesis about a camel is very interesting. . . I am excited to see where he will head with it? He did a good job of not making his thesis a fact and he did make it his opinion. I believe it might be hard to write a whole research paper with it though, so he might want to broaden it a bit.

Remember that there is a skill to learning how to respond to someone else’s work. While it is nice to say that his or her ideas are good or weak, try to be more specific. What makes it good/strong? How specifically can it be improved? Where is it lacking?

For more on the comment I made for Graham . . . I think that if you have an interesting first sentence you may be able to write a good paper, but your thesis is fairly broad in the sense that you don’t really give enough detail about why they are good, but I suppose you would give more details in the paper itself. So it could work.

Hi again guys–although I appreciate the fact that you are responding to whether or not Elizabeth’s potential thesis statement about the Holocaust is a verifiable fact or a claim of fact, I actually helped her with that one during study hall. Recently, Ahmadinejad from Iran came out to contest the legitimacy of the Holocaust. Unfortunately, he is not alone. I thought I’d step in and clarify this so we don’t spend too much time debating it in this forum.

Here is my thesis statement of 1
North Korea and South Korea can be unifed nation.
They were one country a long long time ago.
But there were Korean war 50 years ago.
And they divided. Many family can’t meet now.
North Korea and South Korea had same culture.
Also that people have many same features now too

WE should solve this problem first
